Engineering News: Title 24 Changes Starting in 2017

This year Title 24 for commercial applications in California just got a little tougher, 5% to be exact. Some areas of the code affected include elevators, escalators, mechanical envelope design, mandatory new efficiencies for chillers, design review for buildings larger than 10,000 SF, indoor lighting control output, daylighting standards, and reductions for outdoor lighting allowances. To learn more about the changing design standards there is more information on www.energy.ca.gov/title24/2016standards/

Our team has undergone recent training sessions regarding the new changes and is fully ready to provide quality services in regards to the Title 24 changes.
